The Engineer will be responsible for all work related to development of video editing platform and webinterfaces. Primarily software development of applications using JavaScript frameworks (especially ReactJS, NodeJS)
Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planningDesigning/developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POCs)
Apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, orbusiness units to drive forward results
Contribute to the design and architecture of the project

Who We Are Looking For

Total work experience of minimum 3-6years in developing web based solutions and services
Should have knowledge of frameworks such as NodeJS, Fabric.js, React JS, Express JS, Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, AngularJS, HTML5 Canvas, Backbone JS, Bootstrap (or alternatives)
Should have expertise in efficient, minimal javascript on both mobile and web
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical andnontechnical audience.
