Job Title: Lead Data Migration Consultant – SAP S/4HANA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with LTMC, DMC, and SAP Data Migration Cockpit, along with proven experience in leading teams and interacting with business stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

Design and execute data migration strategy, planning, and execution.

Hands-on experience with LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit) and DMC (Data Migration Cockpit).

Manage data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading activities.

Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure data quality.

Lead data migration workshops with clients and gather migration requirements.

Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and validation.

Handle mock loads, trial migrations, and cutover planning.

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.

Mentor and guide data migration team members.

Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and leadership.

Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues and defects.

Requirements

Required Skills

12+ years of overall SAP experience.

Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration projects.

Hands-on experience with:

LTMC – Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit

SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC)

Experience in large-scale SAP data migration programs.

Strong understanding of SAP tables, data structures, and migration objects.

Experience in data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation.

Good knowledge of LSMW / ETL tools / Migration tools (preferred).

Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Proven team handling and leadership experience.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects.

Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.

Experience in cut over planning and data migration governance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
