Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 6+ years of experience in SAP development and strong expertise in ABAP on HANA and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model). The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, including S/4HANA Public Cloud, custom development, and building Fiori applications using the RAP framework. The role requires working with modern SAP development frameworks and clean core extensibility principles in Public Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance SAP ABAP applications on the S/4HANA platform, including Public Cloud environments.
Design and implement solutions using SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
Develop OData services and Fiori applications using RAP architecture.
Work on CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP on HANA concepts.
Develop extensions aligned with clean core principles in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Perform code optimization and performance tuning on HANA.
Develop custom reports, enhancements, forms, interfaces, and workflows.
Support SIT, UAT, and production issues.
Requirements
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong experience in ABAP on HANA.
Hands-on experience with SAP RAP framework.
Experience with CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori integration.
Experience working in SAP S/4HANA implementations including S/4HANA Public Cloud.
Knowledge of AMDP, BADI, Enhancements, SmartForms / Adobe Forms.
Good understanding of object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 development.
Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
Understanding of clean core architecture and extensibility in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
