We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our software development team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers and QA engineers to test software products, identify bugs, and ensure our applications meet high-quality standards. This internship offers hands-on experience in manual and automated testing practices within an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases (manual and/or automated) under supervision.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Assist in writing and updating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and QA review meetings.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
• Help verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Document test results and report issues clearly and concisely.

Learn and use QA tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Nice to Have):

• Experience with any QA/testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG.
• Exposure to version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
