As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. What You Will Do
- Product Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Technical Analysis: Review and analyze technical specifications, system integrations, and data flows to ensure feasibility and alignment with product goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress and addressing any concerns.
- Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and ensure the team delivers on commitments.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Documentation: Create, update, and maintain internal technical documentation of products and processes.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a technical environment.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and system integrations to effectively communicate with development teams. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional teams.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer empathy and a passion for delivering products that solve real user problems.
- Industry Experience: Experience in marketing and digital media is a plus.
- BA/BS Degree in STEM or quantitative field is required.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, SAFe).
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Domo).
- Position is onsite at the corporate office with the potential of one day/week remote work following three months of employment.
- Standard work week - 40 hours; however, employees may be required to work additional time necessary to meet deadlines and complete projects.
