Job Locations: Karachi, Pakistan

Department: IT

Type: Regular, Full-Time

Working hours: 6:00 pm – 3:00 am Pakistan time (US hours)

HelpDesk Engineer will be responsible to manage IT infrastructure of Pakistan and US office.

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • To provide Help Desk support to local and remote employees in the evening shift to our team in Pakistan and US.
  • Setup new computers.
  • Setup new accounts.
  • Permissions on Tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues of employee's computers/laptops.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Order inventory items for US employees through online store (like Amazon, eBay, Alibaba etc.).
  • Ensure time for Internet and LAN connectivity and work with ISP for backend issues.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent degree.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience.
  • Self-motivator and good Team player.
  • Excellent working knowledge of PC/Server hardware and applications.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Understanding of AWS Cloud Computing.
  • Should have some background experience on Cloud environment setup.
  • Eager to learn how to setup infrastructure on Cloud and shadow experience Cloud Network Admin.
  • Knowledge on IT ticketing system like JIRA/etc.
  • Windows Desktop Environments including Windows 10
  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Cloud based email system (office 365)
  • Good understanding and Knowledge on AD/DC, DNS/DHCP.
  • Good understanding and knowledge on VMware Vsphere and /OR other virtualization tools.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts/protocols such as TCP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, SNMP, NAT/PAT etc.
  • Ability to work with local and global vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs85,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
