Enterprise Sales Development Representative
Sales & Business Development · Full-time
United States
PeakMetrics is a narrative intelligence platform that protects enterprises and government agencies from social media manipulation, influence campaigns, and emerging narrative threats. Using advanced machine learning, our platform transforms millions of cross-channel media signals into actionable intelligence — giving customers the context and clarity they need to detect threats early and respond effectively.
The role
Our commercial sales team is growing, and every Account Executive needs a strong pipeline behind them. We are hiring a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel: prospecting, qualifying, and generating opportunities with enterprise decision-makers in crisis communications, PR, and corporate communications.
We are a Series A company, so this seat comes with real autonomy. You will be part of the sales organization, working toward clear goals in close partnership with an Account Executive, but you will own how you get there: your accounts, your outreach, and the ideas you test. The role is built for someone who wants a clear path to becoming an Account Executive.
What you’ll own
The top of the funnel. Prospect, qualify, and generate opportunities with enterprise-level decision-makers.
First conversations with senior buyers. Start conversations with leaders in crisis communications and PR, learn their challenges, and qualify where PeakMetrics can help before handing off to your Account Executive.
Multi-channel outreach. Run structured outbound sequences by email, phone, and LinkedIn with precision and creativity. Use AI and sales tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, and test what works.
Partnership with your Account Executive. Align on target accounts, hand off well-qualified opportunities with clear context, and share feedback so every meeting counts.
Events and conferences. Help drive attendance and represent PeakMetrics at key industry events and conferences that expand our market presence and generate new leads.
Cross-team collaboration. Partner with marketing, growth, and product to align messaging and optimize campaigns.
Your pipeline reporting. Track activity and progress in the CRM, with clear, consistent reporting on leads, conversions, and pipeline health.
New ideas and market insight. Bring ideas for new plays, messaging, and channels, and share what you hear from prospects to help shape go-to-market strategy and product.
What we’re looking for
You understand what it is like to work at a small company: things change quickly, not everything is defined, and the people who thrive find a way forward. You are hungry for the win, you bring ideas, and you work well with autonomy while staying in sync with your team.
1–3 years of SDR or BDR experience. Ideally selling AI, analytics, or other B2B software, with a record of meeting or exceeding your targets.
Startup experience. Preferred. You know what it is like to work on a small team where priorities shift and everyone wears several hats.
Comfort with ambiguity. You adapt and pivot quickly when plans change. You experiment, fail fast, and learn faster.
Solutions-oriented. You bring ideas, not just problems, and you look for a way forward when something is not working.
Self-directed. You manage your own day and pipeline without close supervision, and you ask for help when it matters.
Hungry for the win. You are competitive, you celebrate team wins, and you build trust with prospects and teammates through integrity.
Understanding of consultative selling. You know how to run discovery, ask good questions, and qualify real need.
Strong communication and tools. Your writing and speaking are clear and engaging, and you are comfortable with CRM and sales tools.
Nice to have: Experience selling to communications, PR, or crisis management leaders; familiarity with narrative intelligence, threat intelligence, media monitoring, or reputation risk; and a passion for AI and the information landscape.
Benefits
Remote-first. Do your best work from wherever you are in the U.S. Remote is how we operate by default, not an exception.
Health and retirement. Health insurance, a 401(k), and other benefits that support you beyond the workday.
Flexible schedule and unlimited time off. Shape your week around your life, and take the time you need to recharge.
Room to grow. Real opportunities for professional growth and development, starting with the chance to build a new function from the ground up.
A culture worth joining. A vibrant, inclusive team working on how narratives move across the world’s information.
Competitive compensation. Pay that reflects the impact of the role and the value you bring.
