Engage3 is in search of an experienced help desk technician to handle tier 2 support calls and help desk
tickets. This position is fairly self-managed and requires attention to detail as the desktop support department
is also in charge of onboarding\offboarding and related documentation. They also act as inter-departmental
facilitators, vendor facilitators, and keep a sharp eye on the security posture of the platforms within their
scope of administration. This team is small and will require someone who can manage their own time and
projects and who are looking to increase their responsibility.
Requirements
− Must have 2+ years help desk experience working in an IT support position.
− Must have Excellent customer service skills. This one is non-negotiable and will be heavily weighted.
− Must have Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
− Must have a Very strong grasp of the Microsoft 365 Admin Centers – All of them… Your technical
evaluation will include extensive testing in the Admin centers.
− Comfort in using some PowerShell is required. I don’t need a scripter – just someone who knows how to
use PS effectively as not all functions are available in the UI.
− Must be able to troubleshoot problems independently. Your technical evaluation will put you through
several working scenarios – stuff that’s actually happened – to see what your thought process and
troubleshooting technique look like. This will be a very small and tight team which means you’ve got to be
able to handle matters and to make your clients feel confident in you.
− Must have strong documentation skills. As mentioned, the Help Desk department is in charge of on\offboarding that requires a fair deal of documentation. This process is an integral part of Engage3’s SOC II
compliance. This means there’s a lot of paperwork and the paperwork cannot have mistakes. Strict
adherence to policies already in place is also key because they affect the company’s audit requirements.
