Business Analyst

2024 will be the year that we scale up our linking throughput by 10x+ by introducing Machine Learning Linking into our daily tasks. Machine Learning linking will replace most manual linking efforts and will be an evolving process that you will be a part of.

We believe you will play a pivotal role as we implement this new process, and you will have insightful feedback to share with the ML linking team to further improve our methods which will increase our efficiency and accuracy as a team. We also believe ML linking will create more efficiency to give you time for other tasks to drive the department forward including product enhancement requests, ML feedback tracking, and professional growth.

• Tasks

• Linking speed above 30 items per hour while maintaining 95% accuracy.

• QA speed above 50 items per hour while maintaining 95% accuracy.

• NMV speed above 30 items per hour while maintaining 95% accuracy.

• ML Linking speed above 100 items per hour while maintaining 95% accuracy.

• Learn and complete other linking related tasks like stale link review, reprocessing rejects, proposed linking, etc. as they arise.

• Complete any Udemy courses that the company has provided you with access to.

• Communicate any concerns related to linking tasks as they come up (linking parameters, tool issues, etc.)

• Communicate tool issues with the support team through thorough support tickets and track the ticket progress through completion.

• Decipher cryptic product descriptions to make appropriate matches between products across the many different verticals we work with.

• Identify meaningful components and compare/contrast differences between retail products.

General Expectations

• Availability during work hours 10AM – 6PM (half hour lunch taken before 5th hour).

• Contribute to our team culture by being willing to help others, looking for ways to improve the team, and by speaking positively and professionally with one another.
