Senior Staff Accountant

This position’s responsibilities include:

· Revenue

o Reviewing and understanding billing requirements for all client contracts; managing invoices (across various client submission portals) and timely collections with clients

o Understanding and ability to perform on revenue recognition, deferred revenue and accrued revenue not billed concepts

· Vendor Management

o Coding and processing Accounts Payable as well as monthly credit card transactions

· Month end and Other

o Support month end closing processes

o Monthly bank reconciliations

o Balance Sheet account reconciliations

o Familiar with IRS 1099 reporting requirements

o Assists with GAAP audits and other various government reporting requirements

To be successful candidate, you should have:

· High level of attention to detail

· Willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects while being supported by team members

· Enjoys a fast-paced environment

· Loves to look for process improvements (especially automation of accounting processes) and implementation of such

· Can work in a team environment or stand alone

· Excellent communication skills
