As a fast-growing leader in the Retail Tech space, our platform helps some of the world’s largest brands optimize their in-store performance and drive sales. We’re looking for a high-performing Sales Director to become a top performer on our go-to-market team, build lasting customer relationships, and accelerate revenue growth across key accounts in the LATAM region. To be clear, this job is fully remote serving the LATAM region and you could be based anywhere in the region, preferably in one of the prime transport hubs (e.g. Mexico City, Panama City, Sao Paulo etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Provide leadership to the customer-facing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Sales Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Oversee the implementation of effective sales processes and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market share.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships to enhance the reach and impact of our IoT-based SaaS solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure long-term partnerships.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Capture all selling activities, pipeline and forecast tracking in a CRM
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration between sales and other departments to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing regular updates on sales performance and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a successful sales leader in the IoT and SaaS industries - experience within food and drink CPG's is an advantage
- Strong understanding of technology trends, especially in IoT and cloud-based solutions.
- Rigorous experience operating from a critical business system or CRM including Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive or similar.
- Ability to communicate with cross functional coworkers including engineering, operations and customer support.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus.
- Fluent Spanish essential, preferably also fluent in Portuguese
